MIAMI ART WEEK 2026 — OPEN CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

The Diasporic Lens
Exhibition Dates: December 4–5, 2026

MONAD invites U.S.-based photographers to be considered for a curated exhibition featuring 10 photographers during Miami Art Week, December 4–5, 2026. MONAD will cover all printing and framing costs for the selected artists.

The Diasporic Lens is inspired by MONAD founder and creative director Dez Amakye’s Ghanaian heritage and his love for highlighting cultures from around the world. The exhibition explores America through the intersecting experiences of identity, migration, heritage, and belonging, considering how cultures travel, how communities take shape, and how connections to home influence the ways we see and document the world.

Open to photographers of all backgrounds, the theme welcomes personal stories and observations of the people, places, and cultural exchanges that shape contemporary American life. Work across portraiture, fashion, editorial, documentary, street, landscape, architecture, and experimental photography is welcome.
